Hawaiian Bread
Ingredients
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups mashed ripe banana
- 1 cup crushed pineapple with juice
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Sift sugar, flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon; add nuts. Reserve.
- Beat eggs in large mixing bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients. Mix slightly with wooden spoon.
- Add dry ingredients, stirring just until batter is moistened.
- Pour into two greased and floured* loaf pans.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 5 minutes, or until done.
- Cool for 10 minutes.
- Remove from pans.
