Sour Cream Nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 well beaten egg
  • 1 cup dairy sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, egg and sour cream.
  2. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. Stir in nuts.
  4. Pour into a greased 7 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
