Spiced Applesauce Bread

Ingredients

Bread

• 1 1/4 cups applesauce
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups + 3 tablespoons milk
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/4 teaspoon allspice
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Topping

• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Bread

1. Mix and pour into a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.

Topping

1. Mix and spread over the top of the bread.
2. Bake for 1 hour.
