Tomato Gravy
Yield: 8 servings
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups tomato juice
- Pinch of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions
- Boil tomato juice.
- Add baking soda, salt and sugar.
- Mix cornstarch and milk together, and pour into tomato mixture. Bring to a boil.
- Serve on scrambled eggs or fried mush.
