Chunky Monkey Overnight Oats
This simple make-ahead breakfast combines oats, bananas, walnuts and dark chocolate for a tasty and satisfying way to start the day.
Prep: 5 min | Yield: 4 servings (1 Mason jar per serving)
Ingredients
Oats
- 2 cups 2% milk
- 1 1/2 cups regular cooking oats
- 1 medium size ripe banana, cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup California walnuts, chopped
- 3 tablespoons dark semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Assembly
- 1 medium size ripe banana, sliced
- 2 tablespoons dark semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup California walnuts, chopped
Instructions
Oats
- Add milk, oats, banana, walnuts, chocolate chips and vanilla extract equally to four Mason jars. Cover and shake jars to combine ingredients. Refrigerate overnight.
Assembly
- When ready to serve, top with banana slices, chocolate chips and walnuts.
