Chunky Monkey Overnight Oats

This simple make-ahead breakfast combines oats, bananas, walnuts and dark chocolate for a tasty and satisfying way to start the day.

Chunky Monkey Overnight Oats

Prep: 5 min | Yield: 4 servings (1 Mason jar per serving)

Ingredients

Oats

  • 2 cups 2% milk
  • 1 1/2 cups regular cooking oats
  • 1 medium size ripe banana, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup California walnuts, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons dark semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Assembly

  • 1 medium size ripe banana, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons dark semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup California walnuts, chopped

Instructions

Oats

  1. Add milk, oats, banana, walnuts, chocolate chips and vanilla extract equally to four Mason jars. Cover and shake jars to combine ingredients. Refrigerate overnight.

Assembly

  1. When ready to serve, top with banana slices, chocolate chips and walnuts.
