Alaska Sourdough Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 package dry yeast
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Using a glass mixing bowl and a wooden spoon only, mix yeast, flour and warm water; beat well. Let stand in warm place overnight or for 8 hours.
  2. Add eggs, baking soda, salt and sugar. Beat well, then add melted butter.
  3. Bake on hot griddle or in frying pan until lightly brown.
