Morning Power Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 1/2 cups raisins or 3/4 cup each raisins and dates
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup peanuts or any other nuts
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1 cup oatmeal

Instructions

  1. Cream together the butter, peanut butter and brown sugar.
  2. Blend in eggs and milk.
  3. Stir in flours, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and ginger.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and mix in well.
  5. Drop by spoonsful onto cookie sheet and flatten slightly with fork.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees F until light brown and semi-firm to the touch, about 12 to 15 minutes.
