Morning Power Cookies
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 1/2 cups raisins or 3/4 cup each raisins and dates
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup peanuts or any other nuts
- 1 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1 cup oatmeal
Instructions
- Cream together the butter, peanut butter and brown sugar.
- Blend in eggs and milk.
- Stir in flours, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and ginger.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix in well.
- Drop by spoonsful onto cookie sheet and flatten slightly with fork.
- Bake at 350 degrees F until light brown and semi-firm to the touch, about 12 to 15 minutes.
