Apple Black Walnut Cake recipe

Instructions

  1. Mix eggs, oil and sugar; blend well.
  2. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together; add to egg mixture.
  3. Add apples, Black Walnuts and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour batter into greased tube or Bundt pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
  6. Glaze: In saucepan, combine brown sugar, milk and margarine. Cook 2 1/2 minutes after mixture comes to a boil.
  7. While cake is still hot, pour glaze over cake in pan.
  8. Cool cake completely before removing from pan.

Yield: 18 servings
