Amaretto Butter Frosting

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup butter, softened
  • 6 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 cup amaretto
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Cream butter.
  2. Gradually add confectioners' sugar, beating until smooth.
  3. Add Amaretto and milk, beating until mixture reaches spreading consistency.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract.

Yield: 3 cups
