Amaretto Butter Frosting
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 6 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 cup amaretto
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cream butter.
- Gradually add confectioners' sugar, beating until smooth.
- Add Amaretto and milk, beating until mixture reaches spreading consistency.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
Yield: 3 cups
