Cool Whip Frosting
I don't care much for frosting, but this one is light and doesn't seem quite as sugary as most. It's wonderful on banana cake!
Yield: about 4 cups or enough for two 9 inch layers
Ingredients
- 1 small box vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip
Instructions
- Combine pudding mix, sugar and milk in a small bowl. Beat slowly with a rotary beater or at lowest speed of an electric mixer until well blended, about one minute.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- Spread on cake at once.
Notes
Frosted cake should be refrigerated. For firmer frosting let pudding mixture stand 5 minutes before adding Cool Whip.
