Raspberry Icing

Yield: enough icing to cover top and sides of angel food cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh raspberries, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Add sugar and salt to crushed fruit, mixing well.
  2. Add lemon juice until of consistency to spread thinly on cake.
