Whipped Gelatin Icing

This icing is great on angel food cake!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained well
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 small box gelatin (any flavor desired)
  • 1 pint whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Boil pineapple, water and sugar for 5 minutes.
  2. Add gelatin. Stir well.
  3. Set aside; let cool until starting to gel.
  4. Beat whipping cream and then stir the gelatin mixture into the whipped cream.
  5. Ice angel food cake.
