Whipped Gelatin Icing
This icing is great on angel food cake!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained well
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 small box gelatin (any flavor desired)
- 1 pint whipping cream
Instructions
- Boil pineapple, water and sugar for 5 minutes.
- Add gelatin. Stir well.
- Set aside; let cool until starting to gel.
- Beat whipping cream and then stir the gelatin mixture into the whipped cream.
- Ice angel food cake.
