Chocolate Walnut Fruitcake
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 2 cups mixed candied fruit, diced
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup pitted dates, thinly sliced
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Mix; place in generously greased 9-inch tube pan.
- Bake at 300 degrees F for about 1 3/4 hours.
- Keep in refrigerator for one week before serving.
