Golden Butter Bundt Cake
Ingredients
- 1 (18.25 ounce) Duncan Hines Golden Butter cake mix*
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup pecans
Instructions
- Combine cake mix, sugar, oil, eggs and sour cream. Mix well.
- Mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans.
- Place one-third of the cinnamon mixture in the bottom of a greased Bundt pan.
- Add one-half of the batter.
- Add another one-third of the cinnamon mixture, the remaining batter and end with the cinnamon mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Notes
* 18.25 ounce boxes of cake mix have been replaced by 16.5 ounce and 15.25 ounce boxes. To compensate for the volume loss in a 16 ounce box, whisk 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour into the dry cake mix before proceeding with the recipe. To compensate for the volume loss in a 15.25 ounce box, add 1/2 cup + 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
