Chocolate Cream Cheese Bars

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 (18.25 ounce) box devil's food cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs

Filling

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 box confectioners' sugar

Instructions

  1. Crust: Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Mix the cake mix, butter and eggs by hand until smooth. (Mixture will be thick.)
  3. Spray a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with cooking spray and spread mixture into pan.
  4. Filling: With an electric mixer, blend the cream cheese, eggs and sugar together until smooth, making sure there are no lumps. Pour mixture on top of cake mixture.
  5. Bake for 1 hour.
  6. Cool before serving.
