Praline Brownies
Yield: 16 brownies
Ingredients
Brownies
- 1 box Duncan Hines milk chocolate chunk brownie mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup Crisco oil
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
Topping
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 inch square pan.
Brownies
- Combine brownie mix, eggs, water, oil and 3/4 cup pecans in large bowl. Stir with spoon until well blended, about 50 strokes.
- Spread in pan.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Remove from oven, spread with topping.
Topping
- Combine brown sugar, 3/4 cup pecans, melted butter, milk and vanilla extract in small bowl. Stir with spoon until well blended.
- Spread over hot brownies and return to oven.
- Bake 15 more minutes or until topping is set.
- Cool completely.
- Cut into bars.
