Butterfinger Cupcakes
Your favorite cake mix and Nestlé Butterfinger candy bars make the perfect cupcakes your kids will love.

Ingredients
- 1 (18.25 ounce) box chocolate or yellow cake mix*
- 3 (2.1 ounce) Nestlé Butterfinger candy bars, chopped, divided
- 1 (12 ounce) container prepared chocolate or vanilla frosting
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease or paper-line 24 muffin cups.
- Prepare cake mix batter according to package directions; stir in 1/2 cup Butterfinger. Spoon into prepared muffin cups.
- Bake for 15 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in cupcake comes out clean.
- Cool completely.
- Frost; sprinkle with remaining Butterfinger.
Notes
* 18.25 ounce boxes of cake mix have been replaced by 16.5 ounce and 15.25 ounce boxes. To compensate for the volume loss in a 16 ounce box, whisk 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour into the dry cake mix before proceeding with the recipe. To compensate for the volume loss in a 15.25 ounce box, add 1/2 cup + 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
