Whipping Cream Pound Cake



  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup butter (no substitute)
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 1/2 pint heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon butter extract


  1. Grease and flour a Bundt cake pan.
  2. In large bowl cream sugar and butter.
  3. Add eggs and flour alternately, mixing well.
  4. Add cream and flavorings. Beat at low speed of electric mixer until smooth.
  5. Pour into prepared pan.
  6. Put into cold oven.
  7. Bake for 1 hour and 25 minutes at 325 degrees F.
