Alaskan Crude

Ingredients

Cake

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) margarine
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups grated coconut
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups walnuts

Frosting

  • 16 ounces confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Mix all cake ingredients together well with a spoon and bake in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes.
  2. After the cake has cooled and while still hot, spread 1 jar Marshmallow Creme over the top of the cake.
  3. After the cake has cooled completely, frost with frosting.
  4. To make the frosting, mix all ingredients together well in a large bowl with an electric mixer.
