Peanut Butter Cake




Peanut Butter Icing


  1. Cake: Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cream sugar, eggs, shortening and vanilla extract.
  3. Add buttermilk, hot water, and peanut butter.
  4. Add dry ingredients. Mix well until smooth - about 2 minutes.
  5. Pour into prepared 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  7. Cool and frost.
  8. Peanut Butter Icing: Cream all ingredients together until very smooth.
