Apple Pancake Topping


  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 can apple pie filling*
  • Cinnamon (optional)

* Blueberry, cherry or other pie fillings can be substituted for the apple pie filling.


  1. Melt butter in a 10 1/2-inch skillet over low heat.
  2. Add apple pie filling and cinnamon, if desired, stirring frequently until apples are warm (3 to 5 minutes).
  3. Remove skillet from heat, and spoon the apples over hot pancakes.
