Lazy Peach Cobbler

Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 large can sliced peaches
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) box white cake mix*
  • Butter
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. When the Dutch oven is preheated, put the entire can of peaches and juice into the oven.
  2. Add the dry cake mix on top of the peaches.
  3. Place several pieces of butter on top, and sprinkle cinnamon all over.
  4. Place lid on the oven and bake for about 45 minutes.

Notes

* 18.25 ounce boxes of cake mix have been replaced by 15.25 ounce boxes. To compensate for the volume loss, whisk 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour into the dry cake mix before proceeding with the recipe.
