Peppermint Patty Frosting

Ingredients

• 1 (18.25 ounce) box cake mix*, prepared
• York Peppermint Patties, enough to cover cake

Instructions

1. Place York Peppermint Patties on a cake fresh out of the oven, let them soften, then spread them with a spatula to cover the cake. Spread just until nicely marbled brown and white.

Notes

* 18.25 ounce boxes of cake mix have been replaced by 15.25 ounce boxes. To compensate for the volume loss, whisk 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour into the dry cake mix before proceeding with the recipe.
