- 1 cup seedless raisins
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 1 cup dried figs
- 1/4 cup rum
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup pistachio nuts
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- The day before you plan to make the candy, put the fruit into a bowl, heat the
rum, and pour it on. Let stand.
- The next day, drain the fruit. Put fruit and nuts through the food chopper. Mix
well with the hands.
- Form into small balls.
- Combine sugar and cinnamon. Roll the balls in this mixture.
- Let stand until dry.
