French Cream Almondine

Ingredients

  • 5 cups chopped milk chocolate or chips
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup Marshmallow Creme
  • 2 1/2 cups chopped toasted almonds, divided

Instructions

  1. Melt milk chocolate to 110 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
  2. Scald milk. Add hot milk and Marshmallow Creme to melted chocolate, beating until smooth.
  3. Stir in 1 1/2 cups almonds.
  4. Spread in a buttered 8 inch square pan.
  5. Sprinkle remaining almonds over top and press in.
  6. When set, cut into squares.
