Orange Chocolate Nut Truffles
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- 2 cups chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Melt chocolate chips in 4 tablespoons water in top of double boiler over hot, but not boiling, water, stirring frequently. Turn chocolate into medium bowl. Add sugar, cream, orange juice and orange zest; stir until combined. Beat to mix well.
- Place plastic wrap directly on surface; refrigerate overnight.
- Place a sheet of wax paper on a damp surface; sprinkle walnuts on wax paper.
- Drop chocolate by teaspoonsful onto walnuts. Roll to cover completely.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
