Pineapple Pickles 2 Ingredients
1 fresh pineapple
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups water
1 cup vinegar
1 (2-inch long) cinnamon stick
2 to 4 whole cloves
Dash of salt Instructions
Peel pineapple and cut crosswise into 1-inch thick slices. Remove core. Cut into
sections about 1-inch wide. Mix sugar and water in saucepan. Add pineapple pieces;
boil for about 10 minutes.
Remove pineapple. To the syrup, add vinegar and spices. Boil until syrup is thickened.
Add pineapple back into syrup; boil for about 5 minutes.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
