Rhubarb Orange Slice Jam

Ingredients

  • 5 cups rhubarb, cut fine
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 pound orange slice candy, cut into small pieces
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple (and juice)
  • 1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained, cut fine

Instructions

  1. Combine rhubarb with sugar. Let stand overnight.
  2. In morning cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Add orange slice candy, pineapple and juice, and maraschino cherries.
  4. Cook all together until thick, 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Seal in jars while hot or freeze.
