Strawberry Honey

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups crushed strawberries
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 6 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon powdered alum

Instructions

  1. Cook water and sugar together for 7 minutes.
  2. Add crushed berries and boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Add powdered alum and remove from heat.
  4. Pour into jars and seal with paraffin.
