Instructions

  1. Cut cucumbers in thin slices.
  2. Slice onions.
  3. Combine cucumbers and onions. Add salt and let stand for 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Drain cucumbers and onions.
  5. Heat vinegar, water, celery seed, mustard seed, sugar and turmeric to boiling.
  6. Add cucumbers and onions. Boil slowly until cucumbers and onions are tender.
  7. Pack into jars while hot. Process.
