Taco Twist

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix or 2 tablespoons homemade Taco Seasoning
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 3 cups (8 ounces) corkscrew macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef; drain.
  2. Stir in seasoning mix, tomato sauce and bell pepper. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
  3. Combine cooked macaroni, 1/2 cup cheese and sour cream; place on the bottom of a 10 x 6 inch baking dish.
  4. Top with meat mixture and remaining cheese.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
