Aztec Pudding



  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can water
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch marjoram
  • 1 pinch cumin
  • 1 pinch oregano
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 24 tortillas
  • 3 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 quart sour cream
  • Salsa


  1. Fry onion and garlic in oil. Add tomato sauce, water, and bouillon cube. Simmer.
  2. Fry tortillas, dip in sauce, put in layers in casserole: tortillas, salsa, cheese and sour cream. Repeat layers.
  3. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.
