Brooklyn Cafe Candied Matzo for Passover
Ingredients
- 4 sheets matzo
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 12 ounces chocolate chips
- 1 foil pan with small lip
Instructions
- In a pan mix and melt butter and brown sugar. Bring mix to a boil and keep stirring. Take off heat when thick.
- Lay matzo in pan. Pour mix over matzo.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for about 6 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chocolate (nuts, white chocolate, colored sprinkles optional).
- Put into freezer.
- Break apart and eat.
