Gautreau's Walnut Pie

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup real maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Karo syrup
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 prepared pie shell


  1. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly and add to a pie shell.
  2. Bake for about 1 hour at 350 degrees F until firm.

Serves 8.
