Golden Nugget Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Half-and-Half
  • 8 ounces whipping cream
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 1/2 white bread slices
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons raisins

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix together well the Half-and-Half, cream, eggs, sugar and vanilla extract.
  2. Arrange bread slices on bottom of a 10 x 12 inch baking dish. Pour egg/cream mixture over bread.
  3. Mix cinnamon with sugar and sprinkle over bread.
  4. Spread raisins over top.
  5. Cover with foil and bake in a water bath in 400 degrees F oven for 75 to 90 minutes.
