Hideaway Inn Bed & Breakfast
Festive Egg Squares
Yield: 12 servings
Ingredients
- 1 pound sausage, cooked, drained
- 12 eggs
- 4 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup milk or cream
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1/4 cups Bisquick
Instructions
- Layer sausage, mushrooms, green onions, tomatoes and cheese in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Beat together remaining ingredients and pour over layers.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
May be prepared the night before and baked the next morning.
Put a side dish of picante sauce on the table for anyone who wants to spice up their lives a little.
