Festive Egg Squares

Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients

• 1 pound sausage, cooked, drained
• 12 eggs
• 4 ounces mushrooms, sliced
• 1 cup milk or cream
• 1/2 cup chopped green onions
• 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
• 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper
• 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/2 teaspoon oregano
• 1 1/4 cups Bisquick

Instructions

1. Layer sausage, mushrooms, green onions, tomatoes and cheese in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
2. Beat together remaining ingredients and pour over layers.
3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

May be prepared the night before and baked the next morning.

Put a side dish of picante sauce on the table for anyone who wants to spice up their lives a little.
