Justin's Restaurant Puffy Shrimp
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 16 to 20 large shrimp
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 5 eggs
- 5 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 cup hot pepper sauce
- 2 cups Japanese bread crumbs
- Vegetable oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Shell, devein, wash and butterfly shrimp.
- Prepare four bowls: one for milk, one for flour, one including: eggs, Old Bay and hot pepper sauce, the fourth for bread crumbs.
- Dip each shrimp consecutively into milk, flour, egg mixture and bread crumbs.
- Drop in oil and fry until golden brown.
