Le Baron Steak House Tomato Gravy with Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons fat
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 cup strained can tomatoes
The above ingredients are for each 2 tablespoons of fat. If more gravy is needed
increase all ingredients proportionately.
- Remove all fat from roasting pan putting back two tablespoons.
- Blend flour, cinnamon
and crushed garlic with fat until dark smooth brown.
- Add strained tomatoes and salt
and pepper to taste. If gravy is too thick, thin with tomato juice.
