Le Baron Steak House Tomato Gravy with Cinnamon


  • 2 tablespoons fat
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup strained can tomatoes

The above ingredients are for each 2 tablespoons of fat. If more gravy is needed increase all ingredients proportionately.


  1. Remove all fat from roasting pan putting back two tablespoons.
  2. Blend flour, cinnamon and crushed garlic with fat until dark smooth brown.
  3. Add strained tomatoes and salt and pepper to taste. If gravy is too thick, thin with tomato juice.
