Olive Garden Five Cheese Ziti al Forno
Ingredients
Ziti Sauce
- 4 cups tomato sauce (homemade or store bought)
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or store bought)
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup shredded fontina cheese
Ziti Topping
- 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons parsley, chopped
Pasta
- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
Ziti Sauce
- Mix all six ingredients together, reserving 1/2 cup.
Ziti Topping
- Mix all seven ingredients together and set aside.
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
Pasta
- Cook pasta according to directions, drain and add hot pasta to ziti sauce, reserving the 1/2 cup set aside.
- Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Spread 1/4 cup of ziti sauce on bottom of dish. Pour pasta into dish. Evenly distribute 1 cup of mozzarella cheese on top of pasta. Top with the prepared ziti topping.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until topping is lightly browned.
