Olive Garden Five Cheese Ziti al Forno

Ingredients

Ziti Sauce

  • 4 cups tomato sauce (homemade or store bought)
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or store bought)
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup shredded fontina cheese

Ziti Topping

  • 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons parsley, chopped

Pasta

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

Ziti Sauce

  1. Mix all six ingredients together, reserving 1/2 cup.

Ziti Topping

  1. Mix all seven ingredients together and set aside.
  2. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.

Pasta

  1. Cook pasta according to directions, drain and add hot pasta to ziti sauce, reserving the 1/2 cup set aside.
  2. Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Spread 1/4 cup of ziti sauce on bottom of dish. Pour pasta into dish. Evenly distribute 1 cup of mozzarella cheese on top of pasta. Top with the prepared ziti topping.
  3. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until topping is lightly browned.
