Tarbell's Donkey Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds mushrooms
  • 1/2 white onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup low-fat sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 bunch chives, chopped
  • 1/2 tomato, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Over medium heat, sauté onion until clear. Add garlic and sliced mushrooms and sauté 10 minutes more.
  2. Take off heat and set aside.
  3. Place mixture in food processor and pulse until smooth.
  4. Add sour cream, soy sauce, salt and pepper; pulse until mixture is well-blended. Move mixture to a mixing bowl and fold in tomato.
  5. Garnish with chopped chives.
