Texas Roadhouse Legendary Sirloin Beef Tips
Ingredients
- Large diced pieces of sirloin
- Medium diced onions
- Large sliced (washed) mushrooms
Instructions
- Season and flour beef. Sear in a hot pan until a medium temperature is achieved.
- Add onions and cook until soft. Add butter, mushrooms and seasoning to a pan. Cook until the mushrooms "caramelize" (turn a caramel color).
- Deglaze the pan with your favorite white wine. Add to the beef and onions; mix well. Add beef stock, and let cook on medium low, covered for about an hour.
- Strain any remaining liquid. Retain Liquid. With the retained liquid produce your favorite brown gravy.
- Add gravy to the beef mixture, mix well. Bring to a soft boil for about 15 minutes.
- Serve.
