Ingredients

Cake

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  2. Cream margarine and sugar. Add vanilla extract. Cream. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg is added. Stir in flour mixture and sour cream alternately - a small amount at a time - always begin with flour mixture and end with flour.
  3. Put half of the mixture into prepared Bundt pan. Add 3/4 cup of the topping on top of the batter. Pour remaining batter gently over the topping and the first layer of batter. Cover with the remaining 1/4 cup of topping.
  4. Bake, testing after 40 minutes.
