Peanut Butter, Chiquita Banana

Peanut Butter, Banana and Chocolate Sandwiches recipe

Classic combos in one delicious sandwich.

Recipe Ingredients

4 slices whole wheat bread

6 tablespoons peanut butter

4 tablespoons chocolate hazelnut spread

2 Chiquita Bananas, sliced

Method

Toast bread slices until lightly golden.

Spread peanut butter on each bread slice.

Swirl chocolate hazelnut spread over the peanut butter.

Top with banana slices and enjoy.

Servings: 4

Variations: Substitute the chocolate hazelnut spread with honey. For a decadent twist, caramelize the banana slices in a little melted butter and brown sugar before adding to the sandwich.

Serving Suggestions: Use cookie cutters to cut out fun sandwich shapes for kids. Also makes a great sandwich to take on a hike; simply top with another slice of toast, cut in half or quarters and wrap to go.
