Hominy Chili with Beans




  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic; sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Stir in chili powder and next 5 ingredients (chili powder through stewed tomatoes); bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
  3. Spoon 1 1/4 cups chili into each of 4 bowls.
  4. Top each serving with 1 tablespoon sour cream, 1 tablespoon cheese and 1 teaspoon cilantro.
