Erma Bombeck's Christmas Dip




  1. Using a nonstick skillet, cook beef and 1/4 cup onions for 5 minutes at medium high. Stir often until beef is lightly browned.
  2. Stir in sauce, chili powder and salt. Bring to simmer.
  3. Stir in beans and simmer 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Turn into chafing dish.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese, olives and rest of onion.
  6. Serve with taco chips.
