Frosty Braunschweiger Snowball



  • 1 pound Oscar Meyer Braunschweiger
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sweet basil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise


  1. Blend first four ingredients well; shape into a ball, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and chill at least 4 hours.
  2. Mix cream cheese, garlic, Tabasco sauce and mayonnaise.
  3. Spread over ball.
  4. Decorate with chopped nuts or sliced olives or roll in fresh chopped parsley.
  5. Place on a small platter of curly endive to serve.
