- 2 quarts fruit (strawberries, raspberries, peaches)
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 1 liter vodka or brandy
- Layer berries and sugar in large mouth glass jar. Cover with 1 liter of liquor. Cover lightly with screw type lid.
- Allow to sit for 6 to 8 weeks, shaking intermittently to mix ingredients.
- Cordial is ready at the end of 8 weeks but is excellent if saved until Christmas for a Christmas cordial.
