Eggnog Coffee

Eggnog Coffee recipe

Yield: 4 servings, about 1 cup each

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup ground Maxwell Coffee, any variety
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup eggnog, warmed
  • 1/2 cup thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping

Instructions

  1. Place coffee in filter in brew basket of coffee maker; sprinkle with nutmeg.
  2. Place sugar in empty pot of coffee maker. Add 2 1/2 cups cold water to coffee maker; brew.
  3. When brewing is complete, stir in eggnog.
  4. Pour into 4 cups. Serve immediately, topped with dollops of the whipped topping. Sprinkle lightly with additional nutmeg, if desired.

Notes

No time to brew this delicious Eggnog Coffee? Make a quick version by stirring 1/2 cup boiling water into 4 teaspoons General Foods International French Vanilla Cafe in a coffee cup or mug. Stir in 1/2 cup hot eggnog or milk. Sprinkle with ground nutmeg, if desired.

Substitute: Prepare as directed, using low-fat eggnog and Cool Whip Lite Whipped Topping. Substitute Yuban Coffee for the the Maxwell House Coffee.
