Kahlua Christmas Cake

Ingredients

Cake

• 1 box pudding recipe devil's food cake mix
• 3/4 cup water
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 3 large eggs
• 3/4 cup strong black coffee
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1/4 cup bourbon
• 1/2 cup Kahlua

Icing

• 1/3 cup evaporated milk
• 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

Cake

1. Mix cake ingredients and beat 3 minutes.
2. Pour into a greased Bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes.
3. Let cool, then ice.

Icing

1. In saucepan, beat evaporated milk, butter and sugar. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
2. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips.
3. Ice cake immediately.
4. Decorate top with candied cherries and pecans.
