Peppermint Frosting



  • 1/4 cup crushed peppermint stick candy
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • About 1 pound confectioners' sugar, sifted


  1. Heat candy and milk over hot water in a double boiler until candy is melted.
  2. Add enough confectioners' sugar to make frosting thick enough to spread on cake.
